#TAGbeautytalk

Today's post is a tag I found on the lovely Jessica's blog, everyone should check her out, you'll find her at www.jessicasbeautygarden.blogspot.com
She's on twitter too @jess_gray7 give her a follow!

Here's my answers hope you enjoy!

What products have stood out to you this year?
- definitely mac eyeshadows. I've dabbled with them in the past but never really seen the point, mainly the price tag. But recently I've been loving them, the colour pay off is amazing, nevermind the shade range, and they blend like a dream!

Which makeup items would you recommend for young girls or people who are just getting in to beauty?
- foundation, mascara and pencil eyeliner. They were my go to things when I started using make up!

Favourite high street and high end beauty brand?
- superdrugs mua, revlon and rimmel for high street and for high end would be, illamasqua, mac, Elizabeth Arden and Estée Lauder.

Most disappointing product you've tried?
- the Nicola roberts concealer/highlighter in shade 1. It was a click pen thing similar to mac's light boost, but it was like tipex white horrible, streaky and didn't cover anything.

A beauty item you use everyday?
- revlon photoready primer. Basically my everyday make up routine.

What are you essentials for winter?
- a good body lotion, lip scrub and lipbalm, hair spray, bobbles and Kirby grips.

Your favourite product for a dramatic, party look?
- where do I start, I use at least one of every item in my make up collection, whatever can fit on my face on a night out you name it, it'll be there.

What's on your Christmas wish list?
- new crown brushes, vice 2 palette and naked 3 palette. I'm pretty content with my collection at the moment.

Love it or leave it? MAC Dangerous

I'm starting a new series called love it or leave it, basically going to be trying out new products and if I love it I'll recommend it, if not leave it.
Today's is MAC's Dangerous lipstick.

This is a retro matte lipstick. I'm used to usual matte colour from MAC but this has a slightly different texture to say Russian Red or Ruby Woo. I bought another from this collection a while ago in Flat Out Fabulous which is one of my favourites. The colour pay off in these lipsticks are incredible an they last for a while on the lips. I don't find them too drying either. It's one of those colours that's different in different lights, looks orange one minute and a pinky red the next. I'm loving this colour so far. If your new to mac lipsticks I definitely recommend this if you like bright colours. It's a very wearable colour also, I teamed it with a neutral smokey eye and it makes the colour pop like no other.

Just show some comparison of the colour I got a picture of it next to Morange from mac and there isn't really much difference only the finish!

I definitely love this, you'll be seeing a lot more of it in posts.

USA Sephora Wishlist #1

Hey everyone!
A different approach to blogging today. I'm always huffing and moaning about how hard it is to get American brands of make up in the UK, so I thought I would put together a Wishlist of products I would buy if we were ever to get a sephora or something as amazing!
Hope you enjoy.

After calculating everything here has came to $500 and that's not even half of it. I could spend spend spend on make up!

Have you tried any of these products? If so leave a comment below on what your thoughts are.
